With the help of these practices, you can add -shoring to anything and make it a freelance buzz word., and all this can happen at a global level! Outsourcing – The whole practice is all about assigning a freelance expert(s) outside of your company (may be he is more efficient or he charges less amount of as compared to inner staff) to complete a specific business task in a more efficient and cost-effective manner .

Offshoring – This term is similar to the above one, but with a hint of difference. It is all about hiring an outside foreign freelance expert(s) in order to fulfill the task of a specific business in a more efficient and cost-effective manner (just as compared to something that is done by the inner staff members). But if we have a fair comparison of both the terms, then we will see that one question is raised!  If a foreign freelance professional can get quality work done better and faster, then we don't care as to whether that person is located in India or America... Or do we?

Now let us have a look at this term called : Nearshoring – in this pratice the company hires an outside foreign freelance expert(s) from a nearby country (with a similar culture, time zone and language) and the purpose is exactly the same. To complete the work of the organization, in a more cost effective and at the same time in an efficient manner! It has been seen that the preference is given to those freelance providers who have a similar culture, share a similar language and/or are in the same time zone.

Now let us talk about Homeshoring -- Homeshoring is simply outsourcing assignments to a freelance professional, but in this case you don't have to search in any other country. The solution lies within your own country.

Crowdsourcing – It means having a crowd of freelance professionals who are engaged in the task of working all together to produce an outsourcing product.
