The fact is that in order to manage a business this thing becomes extremely vital that one should understand if the business is making a profit and exactly how much profit there is. How you can do so? Of course by having a look at the liabilities and assets of your company. And you can not do so without having a knowledge of accounts! Right?

The fact that usually each and every company has a business model and a profit model. That means what are the loss and profits that are going inside the venture. So if you have a fair knowledge of accounting, then it will provide the established guidelines and mathematical models to properly calculate profits and losses. It will help you to keep an apt record of what is going inside your business!

Accounting is the art of maintaining the financial records. You can do that on a software that are available on various websites or do it manually on a paper, if you don't have much calculations. But it is always recommended that you should do a computerized calculation and keep a soft copy of it!

Okay let me give some kinds of errors that are implemented in a company generally. These can be done intentionally or without knowing much about them. If you have kept an accountant in your company and he chooses to record certain transactions at different  intervals of time, that is, he chooses to record certain transactions that are related to sales in one month and expenses in another, the financial records will be different or in some cases incorrect. And if this information is leaked to your investors, which I am sure that they will get at some moment of time, then investors may choose to purchase stock in a company based upon the incorrect information provided by the accountants. Don't you think that it will end up in a fraud!

So that is why it is recommended that one should have an apt knowledge of everything before trying your hands in it!
