Medical Scrubs – Adding Colors to Hospital Environment

One common question that might come in our mind is why medical and nursing professionals do not wear one color for the scrubs uniforms? Earlier, nurses were used to wear only white color dress, but we hardly see them following the code now. There are lots of factors behind the color logic. Medical industry in 21st century is more open to ideas and now the choice for uniforms is made flexible.
There are many hospitals, which allow their professionals to choose the color of the scrub they want to wear. Whereas, in some hospitals a common uniform color is chosen by administrator.
Some hospitals choose the color of their dress matching the color of the hospital to get that overall feel. Whereas, University and college hospitals try to relate the color of their dress with the colors of their respective colleges.
Many hospitals prefer to choose their uniforms depending on their departments and within the departments they break the colors into various categories. For example, if nurses are wearing light blue, doctors will wear navy blue and students will wear white uniforms. While in some hospitals, you will see that the whole department will co-ordinate with each other on specific color choice. This ensures that no duplicates in the scrub's colors is present. It is amongst the most professional and practical methods within an organization to select their uniforms.
