It’s a new year – one should make resolutions. Right?
Here are some of the best resolutions (according to me) that will help you get over your post-Christmas financial blues. These resolutions or rather tip would help you to use what you have. You’d be surprised to know that there are a lot of stuff that are placed in your home at how many items you have lying around that but you have never used them. But if you will implement their use in your task, then I am sure that the exercise will create more space in your home and save you money.

For example:
- My first tip that would help you to make a useful resolution is to use those gift cards and certificates that were used by you over the past year. It’s a very nice way to get what you want or need . And trust me you don't have to spend that extra money that you would have instead done.
- You can even buy gifts in the end-of-season sales. Just be sure to check the expiry date before using them. Those decorative candles? Are some candles still left out from the last batch? They were meant to be lit and to burn out. So why not save money and use them before you buy new ones.
- Check your books and magazines. I am sure that there are a lot of books or magazines that are of no use. I mean to say there’s always one you haven’t read. So why not cancel their subscriptions and save money on them. This will help you to get rid of any item you aren’t going to read.
- Check out the food inventory and your freezer. There might be certain items that are not used yet. Check for their expiry date. I am sure you will have additional pasta sauce and cheese with you. Collect all the items and make a dish out of them. Save money!
- I think that you have had enough points on your merchant loyalty cards for air travel, products or services? Now don't collect more... just go and redeem them.
- Beauty supplies are not meant for the purpose of storage. Take them out and use them. Otherwise that costly face scrub that is kept in your Almira will get expired!
