One of the reasons why a lot of people would like to have Work
visa Australia or Working
visa Australia is because of the high wages in the country.
Indeed, the land down down under has one of the highest wages available
in the world today. And labor experts say that these are likely to
increase more in the next few years.
If you are still wondering
about how much workers are paid in the country, here is a rundown of
some of the current rates in Australia. Note that these are just
averages and the actual rates may vary slightly. Also, the actual
figures constantly change, though these are still very much close.
In
terms of regional wages, the Australian Capital Territory, primarily
situated in the city of Canberra and outlying areas, offer the highest
wages in the country. On average, a worker in the ACT can earn as much
as $75,350 annually. This is closely followed, interestingly, by workers
in Western Australia, who earn around $70,200 each year. At the other
end of the spectrum, Tasmanian workers get around $55,000 a year, though
this is still pretty much high in current standards.
Now for a a
look at the specific fields of work. Since the mining industry is very
much in a boom this past few years, workers in here can expect a really
good pat. Miners regularly earn up to $103,000 annually here. Technical
experts and other professionals would also find a career in Australia to
be quite lucrative, with an expected average annual salary of $77,800.
note that these two fields have the most demand for workers in the
country today.
Meanwhile, those wishing to work in the health
care scene, which is another popular area for job seekers, can expect to
earn around $62,000 a year. And for those wanting to take working at
the restaurants and hotels as a sideline, they can expect to get around
$46,000 yearly. Both these industries offer a wide variety of positions,
so you will be able to find on that you would like.
And what
more, according the the latest economic figures, Australian wages have
actually increased in the past few months. Overall, the Australian
average wage went up by around 1.1 percent for the third quarter of this
year. Private wages climbed by 1.2 percent while that of the public
sector went up by 0.9 percent.
Analysts have said that these wage
increases are due to the continuing growth of the country's economy.
They also agreed that this would attract a lot more workers into the
country.
