Being a Woman
I am myself a women and that is why I know what we have to go through at every moment of our life. It is not that there is some kind of disadvantages in being a women but yet I would like to say that yes we have to pay a certain amount of cost of being a women.
A lot of people think that people are physically weak, they are not that intelligent or clever, they don't have enough power to take decisions and at the same time they don't have prestige as well. The fact that in this men dominated society, we as women have to deal everything with on a day-to-day basis that most people don't even think about.
Yes, it is true. If you, as a reader are a woman, then you must be able to understand as to what I am saying!
Going out of way to always have that big and charming smile on your face or showing some cleavage, we must have a well toned body, growing babies in our body, should know each and every thing about the current fashion, smelling good, should give ample amount of care as to how we look, reading romance novels and not being afraid of being perceived as "girly" and many more. But these are some of the factors that some of the women take lightly but some take them on their heart! Of course, this may not apply to most women but here are a couple of items that I think that almost 95% of us would agree.
1. We really curse that particular time of the month, I guess most hate that. I am talking about the menstruation time. We all tend to get so emotional. Sleep seems to run out of our minds, tension every where, worrying about getting the sheets stained! Scary! We just wish we could just hibernate during the cycle. Come on we all know, that when it comes to cramps in our stomach, during that particular period of time, we know how bad we feel giving excuses to our male bosses! Right?
2. Some when we go outside, even if we are wearing a covered dress, we are stared by these men and thats when I feel really annoying and at some point it is flattering. Come on. What the hell are you looking at? Sometimes these men look at us like a piece of meat seasoned and ready to be thrown off the grill. Come on, we are also human beings. I mean come on... have you not seen a women ever? The worse part is that they just stare without saying anything.
3. Since we are always being looked at and judged, we always have to make an extra effort to always look pretty and cute in public. If at any day, we go to office without make up or just a pony tail, then all kinds of questions are asked: are you not feeling well? What happened? Come on... can't we look simple?
