If your answer to the above question is in the negative, then its time you try some innovative approaches and draw up a smart strategy to complete the syllabus in time, well before the aieee entrance exam. Completing the prescribed syllabus in time is a pre-requisite for success in any entrance exam. However, it is not just enough to complete the syllabus to emerge as a winner. Concept clarity and the ability to apply the learned concepts to real-life situations is the key to success in these exams.
Only the ones who combine smart work with hard work can get through in such fiercely competitive exams. But if due to some reason your preparation has got delayed and you are unable to regain the rhythm that you earlier had then you can surely take the help of video tutorials to get your preparation in top gear for the aieee engineering entrance exam. However, it is not just enough to clear the aieee entrance; you need to strive for the best ranks to get the branch of your choice that will get you a dream job in a blue-chip corporate.
Preparing from textbooks is still the most preferred way to prepare for any entrance exam as one can study at his or her own pace and convenience. But studying from textbooks can get monotonous and since only the sense of sight is used, there is a high possibility that your brain might not retain the information for a long time.
Watching video tutorials involve the use of sense of sight and sound and therefore the brain devotes a larger chunk of its memory towards its absorption making it easier for the left brain and right brain to retain information for longer periods of time. The concept behind video tutorials is simple: just as we remember a person’s facial features but not his name (which is just one bit of memory), therefore there is a high probability that we might not retain what is written in a textbook (after a few days) and remember what is shown in a video tutorial.
There are other examples of this phenomenon which we encounter in our daily lives. We usually remember all the songs, characters and events of a movie we saw many years back and quite often we even hum its tunes but we fail to recollect its name when we have to. Video tutorials work on this very attribute of the human brain.
Research has shown that our right brain is infinitely more powerful than our
left brain. When we read from books we are using our left brain but when we
watch video tutorials we are using both sides of our brain. So the choice of
study tool that you would use for your aieee entrance exam preparation should
be quite clear. We look forward to your views about this novel preparation tool
on this forum.
