Wang Bingrong, was one of the renowned names as a bamboo carver, during the period from 1862–1908. His techniques were so refined that he was able to transfer his carving skill into the carving on porcelain. His skills can be seen on the newly thrown jar or vase to dry to “leather hard”. He was also known for his beautiful decoration, which he used to carve on the jar in the style of ivory or jade carving.
