Communication is an art. Though, some people say it's a science. So, whether it's an art or science, but it's very important to learn. However, communication plays an important role in organization. It lays the cornerstone for upbringing and grooming of that particular organization.

It lays the cornerstone for upbringing and grooming of that particular organization. This topic can be categorized into three different categories like:
  • Upward Communication – Every communication that goes from employees to the manager level and has a formal tone included is known as upward communication. For instance, feedback of the employees about the specific report or task.
  • Downward Communication – Any communication that takes place between manager level and peers of the same organization is termed as downward communication. The communication basically revolves around orders and instructions that are required to be followed.
  • Dydic Communication - The friendly and informal communication that occurs between employees of the same organization is known as dydic communication. It mainly takes place as exchanging ideas between subordinate of that organization.
Effective communication also help in strengthening relationships within an organization as well as form positive bonds for future interactions. Because of our human nature we tend to open up in front of certain individuals where we can openly discuss or opinions and issues without fear of being judged.

It also help in preventing misunderstanding among individuals. In addition, communication is often related to your self confidence. People who know how to listen and convey their message effectively to others are always more confident than people who don't possess these skills. As you see, effective communication offer many benefits. Learning the importance of communication is not something you should take it lightly.

Hence, the role of communication in any organization is vital and grooms the structure within the organization. By simply improving the communication, the end results will be a successful and productive organization. Bottom line is that we must learn effective communication.
