Many people now a days talk about the area where the food comes from and how it is farmed. You will find experts recommending to eat organic food as much as possible. But you don't know that labels on the organic food can also vary according to the product. So, what does this actually mean?

The best way to take care of yourself and your family is to eat safe and healthy food. If you have ever been to a store for purchasing meat or any other organic product, you would have probably noticed the package label saying “USDA Organic”, 'Certified Naturally Grown” and other such instructions. But, what is the major difference in all these instructions?

The product with the “USDA Organic” label is made from 95% organic ingredients. If “100% USDA Organic” is written on the label, then only it is entirely made from organic ingredients and is free from pesticides, harmful chemicals, hormones etc.

Any food product with the label saying “Certified Naturally Grown” comes from a small farm, which is meeting the guidelines set by USDA in case of organic food. Such food products are most of the times meant for sale or are only available in local markets.

You should not trust the food to be organic if it claims to be “All Natural”. Most of the times, such food products are not at all organic. Any such term has yet not been defined by the United States Government, therefore, any manufacturer is free to use this term in the way he chooses.

One should make it a habit to always read the label of a food product before purchasing it. In order to remain fit and healthy, you should eat organic food, keep yourself away from high sodium and trans fat as well as drink lot of water.
