To get the right employee for the right position employees need to undergo various tests. Employers have to perform many types of tests, which employees need to do such as Employment Testing, Performance Testing and more. These tests are done to know the employees better. All these tests are done according to the requirement of the jobs.
Employment Testing are divided into two main categories such as pre and post-hiring testing. These tests provide employers with essential information.
Tests that include assessments of job matching, aptitude, personality, soft skills, work ethic, customer service and evaluation of competencies during the employee selection process are known as Pre employment tests.
Tests that include employee evaluations / performance reviews, team analysis, planning, training, and 360 multi rater feedback used for management and leadership development are known as Post employment tests.

Medical Examinations
Pre-employment medical tests help employers identify whether an applicant poses any diseases or disability that may affect his performance or the health of other employees. It mainly includes health test, blood test, urine test, breath test and vision test etc.
Physical Testing
To know whether the employee is physically fit or not certain physical tests are performed.
Acceptable inquiry.
An inquiry may be made into the ability of an applicant to know whether he/she can perform the job related functions well.
Psychological Testing
These tests are known to reveal any mental illness of an employee. For example, this test help employer identify whether an applicant has paranoid tendencies, or is depressed.
Personality Testing
These tests are slowly increasing in popularity among employers as it measures an applicant's psychological makeup, such as his personality, character, integrity, or other qualities, which are crucial for the position.
